Yumiko Tatsuta

Organist

She was born in 1989 in Tokyo. She began the piano when she was three years old. She began the organ from Keiko Inoue when she was seventeen years old. In 2012 she graduated Tokyo University of Arts, and entered the graduate school of the same university, where she has been studying the organ from Rie Hiroe. She also studied the organ from Bryan Ashley, the piano from Silvia Platonia, and Laura Goehner Moreno, basso continuo from Yuichiro Shiina, improvisation from Takeshi Kondo, and the harpsicord from Naoya Otsuka, and Mami Hirosawa. She received Ataka Award in 2011, and Acanthus Award in 2012. Currently she is a first-year student in Graduate School of Tokyo University of Arts. (April 2012)
