The Rounders
are the hottest country music band in Nagoya today, play the real country songs
from good ol’
Hank Williams to brand new Kenny Chesney as long as it’s country.
The basic musical
inspiration is Bakersfield country and Texas honky tonk
such as
Buck Owens, Merle Haggard
and George Jones, which has never been changed
since the band had started
their career as Breathless leaded by the female vocals back in 08/01.
As Breathless, the band
covered Patsy Cline, Heather Myles, Danni Leigh, Martina McBride,
Trisha Yearwood
and many more. After
the female vocals left the band in 08/02,
the lead vocals switched to
the former male background vocals and guitars, who is now leading the band.
Right after the band was
renamed The Rounders in 09/03, the drums left the
band
in 12/03 pursuing jazz
style. Through the great help of
female drums between 03/05 and 12/05
the band have re-united with
the new drums in 06/06 and are pursuing the unique musical style
covering Hank, Buck, Merle, Dwight
Yoakam, The Derailers and
many many more.
Bakersfield, Texas honky tonk, rockabilly and Tex-Mex - that’s The Rounders.

<Musical Career>
Born and raised in country
music loving family, country music was always by him all through his life.
At the age of 24, he
joined Nagoya’s most popular band, Aus City Limits as the lead vocals and
started singing George Jones,
Dwight Yoakam, The Derailers
and many more.
After leaving Aus City
Limits, he established Breathless, the former Rounders,
as the background vocals.
He is now leading The Rounders with his honky tonkin’
Hank-like, Dwight-like lead vocals.

<Musical Career>
Widely known as the great
vocals and guitars already, he launches himself as drums,
his original instrument, with
The Rounders.
His talent derives from his father
who also plays the
drums. Inspired by rockin’ country and rockabilly, his rhythm is
steady as clock, powerful as
muscle car. That inspiration beats
beer drinkin’ honky tonk,
tear droppin’
slow ballad, boot steppin’ train song and hard rockin’ country, which takes you to the real honky tonk world.

<Musical Career>
He is one of the most
famous bass players in Nagoya’s country music scene.
His inspiration comes from
various kinds of southern music such as country and rockabilly.
From slapping play with
upright bass to sentimental country classics with electric bass,
his bass is core of The Rounders sound. You can’t talk about The Rounders without listening to his bass, he’s real
deal.

<Musical Career>
Meeting country music at
the age of 16, he started his career as the lead vocals for 50’s and
60’s rock band,
The Cat Robots in the
university. The first career of the
lead guitars was when he joined Nagoya’s
country music band, Lonesome
Spirits. Since he became one of
Breathless original members
in 2001, he has been playing
the lead guitars.
These are some of the
songs The Rounders have ever played,
we thank country singers for
the great songs.
