Nat Dove who is known also as The Texas Boogie King had a live blues show. Two sets and about thirty songs was played. Nat dove performed for about two hours finishing at about eleven-thirty PM. This was the first time Mr. Nat Dove The Texas Boogie King Performed at The Mojo. He mostly played standard blues songs Including: Got my Mojo Working and Georgia on my mind. and others. Mr. Dove has a very gentle touch on the piano and a bluesman`s voice from the home of the real blues. Audience was swinging their bodies with the music and the atmosphere all together and listened very deeply and intently. この日はThe Texas Boogie Kingと親しまれているNAT DOVE氏のブルーズライブでした。２部構成でおそらく全３０曲ぐらい演奏されたのではなかったでしょうか？終わったのは２３時で２時間半に及ぶステージでした。 MOJO初登場となったThe Texas Boogie King NAT DOVE氏。京都では有名なサポート陣とともにたっぷりとブルーズのライブを楽しませてくれました。スタンダードな曲ももちろんたくさん聴かせてくれました。「Got my mojo working」や「Georgia on my mind」なども演奏されました。その優しいピアノのタッチと本場のブルーズマンならではの歌はやはり響きますね。お客さんも体を揺らしながら一体になって聴き入ってました。 |

Nat Dove returned to the live house `JIVE` for the first time since last November. It was raining and everyone was not sure about the size of the audience, but the JIVE live house was full of blues fans. NAT DOVE- piano and vocal, TAD MIURA- guitar, DEKASUE SUZUKI-rhythm guitar, SHOUGETSU NAKAMURA -harp,YASUSI MIYAKE -bass, KIYOSHI MORISAWA-drums. Very sorry about photography quality. wrong settings. Nat Dove played very strong powerful piano with heavy groove and led the band as usual in a strong manner. The beat was very good by Mr. MORISAWA Two sets was played with two encores. The night`s music was very exciting. The party after the performance was held at the `OKONOMI KING` where everyone had a goodtime. listening to blues music and watching videos of Nat Dove as he performed with the great FREDDIE KING thirty years ago in Hollywood, California. Nat Dove was hopefully waiting for the okonomiyaki, as he had enjoyed the last time he appeared at JIVE live house. He said it was very delisious usual. Nat stated He would love to return to Hiroshima and Ube to play good blues and eat good okonomiyaki. 去年１１月に引き続き、NAT DOVE さんのライブをJiveで行いました。 当日はあいにくの雨となってしまいお客さんの入りが心配されましたが、まずまずの集客でした。 メンバーは NAT DOVE (Vo,Piano) TAD三浦(G) デカスー鈴木(G) 中村正月(Harp) 三宅靖(B) 森澤喜義(D) デジカメの絞りが屋外設定になってました・・暗くてスミマセン NATは相変わらずキョーレツなピアノのグルーブでバンドをグイグイひっぱります。 今回はドラムを大先輩の森澤さんにお願いしたのですが、さすがの安定したプレイで気持ち良く演奏できました。 休憩をはさんで２ステージ、最後は２回もアンコールがあって、すごく盛り上がりました。 打ち上げはおなじみ「きんぐ」へ。 大人数で、にぎやかな打ち上げとなりました。 NATも前回も食べたお好み焼きを楽しみにしていたそうで、美味しそうに食べていました。 次回もぜひ広島、そして宇部にも来て欲しいですね。 |
