About PictPane (Widget)

A small widget which downloads one image file from the Internet periodically.

You can specify the url of the image anywhere you want.
You can fill the Dashboard screen with several images such as weather forecast, satellite image, stock and exchange rate.
One image per one widget, so tile several widgets on your screen.

Input the title strings as you like. It will be displayed on the widget.
If the image size is small, make the title short.

Next, input the url of the image and select one of the update interval.

If you specify the link url, the site will be on the default browser when you click the image.

How to find the url of the image

1. Go to the page that includes your favorite image using the Safari.
2. Press Control and click the image. Select "Open the image in the new window"
3. Copy the image url in the address bar at the top of the Safari.
4. Paste it at the back of PictPane

In case of the image file on the local mac

1. Find the image with Finder
2. Drag it and drop in the Safari
3. Copy the image url in the address bar at the top of the Safari.
4. Paste it at the back of PictPane
