|There is no medical treatment.|
My husband's health condition was getting worse so he went to a first-aid station. There, he was told by a doctor, "There is no medical treatment once spots begin to appear and the hair on your head is coming off." And he was sent back to his home. My husband came home with his great disappointment and had lost his energy to live.
The following day we asked a priest to come to my house and we had the priest recite a sutra for my mother-in-law and our four children who died from the atomic bomb. My husband was reciting Amitapha in a low voice. But then he said, "My mother and my son Takashi have just come to take me to the next world." It was his last message.
When he died, I lost the energy to live on. Even when my four children died, I thought that I could deal with this situation if my husband was still alive. When he died, I was filled with the feeling that I wanted to die with him.
