Hey Jim & Sue! I don't know if you ever check this page but I just wanted to say hi. It's been about 12 years since I've seen you or been in touch but have been thinking about you a lot lately. Is Reunion still performing? I realized the other day that I haven't seen Gary in person in 38 YEARS! That is WAYYYY too long! LOL. Would love to catch another one of your concerts soon if you're still singing together. Take care and write if you get a chance.

I first met Tony Butala at the Latin Casino in Cherry Hill NJ where I was able to meet him backstage. That was one of the greatest moments of my life since I have about 42 Lettermen Albums. I had the opportunity to see the Lettermen show at the Ocean Grouve Audotorium. I found out that the seniors are invited to free concerts at the PNC in NJ. I was able again to get some tickets for their show. I love the Lettermen and was happy I was able to see their show. Thank you for continuing this great music and I hope I can see you all again in NJ. One of your greatest fans. (I will never forget the kiss on the cheek that I got from Tony).

HI, I WATCHED YOU SHOW LAST NIGHT AT LANCASTER'S AMERICAN THEATER. AFTER ALL THESE YEARS YOU GUYS ARE STILL FANTASTIC. MANY YEARS AGO I WATCHED YOU IN THE PHILIPPINES, IT WAS EITHER AT THE ARANETA OR AT THE PHIL. CULTURAL CENTER. I MOVED TO AMERICA IN 1983-I WAS SENT TO SCHOOL AT THE CENTRAL TEXAS COLEGE. I AM AN ENTERTAINER, BY THE WEEKENDS AND AN ENGINEER BY THE WEEKDAY!I PERFORM AT TURF VALLEY'S TERRACE ON THE GREEN ON SOME WEEKENDS. YOU HAVE DONE SHOWS AT THE BANQUET ROOMS THERE MANY TIMES, USUALLY ON VALENTINE'S DAY. I LOVE SINGING AND PERFORMING. I WAS MEMBER OF THE MINDANAO STATE UNVERSITY "THE PINOY LETTERMEN"..AND WHEN I MOVED HERE I PERFORMED WITH 2 OTHER GUYS IN THE MARYLAND AREA AS THE "PINOY LETTERMEN". WE, FILIPINOS LOVE YOU GUYS VERY MUCH..AND I AM ONE OF YOUR FANS SINCE THE 60'S! I STILL PERFORM SOLO NOW, A LOT OF PEOPLE SAY THE "ENGELBERT SOUNDS LIKE ME" HA..HA..HA.HA. I WANTED TO HAVE A PICTURE TAKEN WITH YOU GUYS LAST NIGHT BUT THE LINE WAS LONG AND WE STILL HAVE TO DRIVE BACK TO MARYLAND. I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK...KEEP ON SINGING YOU AMKE PEOPLE CRY AND LAUGH...AND THAT IS A GOOD THING. AND THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC.
DONNOVAN'S SONG ABOUT HIS DAUGHTER AND HIS WIFE MADE MY WIFE CRY. SHE HAD A CHANCE TO SHAKE HIS HANDS WHEN WE WENT AROUND. SHE WANTS TO KNOW THE TILLTE OF THE SONG HE WROTE ABOUT HIS WIFE. IS IT ON CD?

I had the chance to finally see The Lettermen on January 24, 2007 in Sun City Center, Florida. What a thrill! And to see Mark Preston after 20 years. Their sound, in my opinion, is one of the 3 best. They picked up right were there they left off, but only better. The stength and enthusiasm is bar none. Mark is so glad to be back. And it shows. After 17 years as a star on cruise ships, he's glad to be home. This is where it's at. The Lettermen are back! and they are re-learning some of the classics: If Ever I Would Leave You?, Sealed With A Kiss, Our Winter Love, Warm, Cherish/Precious And Few and the list goes on.... Tony's always crowd pleasing Maria, Donovan's Daddy's Girl, and Mark's Copacabana and Do I Love You? Does it get any better? A crowd pleasing ending with God Bless The USA and I Believe. Mark, Donovan and Tony were the best after and I truly enjoyed renewing old friendships. What a wonderful journey. I Love these friends!

Subject: Hawaii
Hello everyone, Well it's off to Hawaii I go on a new adventure. I am
flying out tomorrow to Hana, Hawaii on the east coast of Maui, my new
home. It might be a while till I get back online. It is a small
community with a gas station and a general store. I am told I will be
able to watch the whales swim by from my deck at the house. I think I
will be able to write some good music there. Be sure to stop by my web
site and download this month's free MP3 of "Lost" and take a listen to
my "True Composer" CD in MP3 format at MIDI-Contest.com . Take care and
I will keep you posted on my new music.
Love to all

My name is Margie Gephart (formally Hoffmann).
I have known Tony since he was married to Judy and lived in Chatsworth, CA.
His olders son, Anthoy, and my daughter Tammy were frinds as little people
at Egermont School. I would love to hear from Tony on how his children are
doing. We had many great times together when our children were young. I
really remember the Forth of July parties and the roasted lamb. Please give
Tony my message; maybe he also would like a part of the past.

Shinichiro,
Thank you soooo much once again for taking the time to honor me and the Diamonds with your web site. We are currently in Florida touring and have may concerts scheduled for the new year. Unfortunately, we do not have anything on the books for Japan yet. Let's hope that changes soon. I would love to come over once again and see all my old friends in Japan. I should have the new solo album ready in a couple of months. As soon as it is finished, I'll let you know.

Hi,
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your web site. I found you through a link at Patrick's site.

Thank you for a good LETTERMEN site.

Shinichiro,
I have to congratulate you on an incredible website dedicated to The Lettermen past and present, including other vocal groups. Your Website is filled with so many wonderful pictures of the group. I have been a fan of The Lettermen’s since the early 70’s, and had the opportunity to see them in 1999 here in New York. I wish Capitol records would release a compilation of all of the songs recorded through the years. Whenever I get a chance, I try to get as many recordings as I possibly can, without duplicating songs.
Again, wonderful site
Thank you….

I saw Reunion perform at ISU in Pocatello July 6, 2005. It was a night I will always cherish as they autographed my CD and picture. I had all there albums when I started working. You are my favorites. Please email me if you perform again in Idaho or Las Vegas as I will surely be there in the 2nd row again. Good luck in all your concerts!

Hi Jim;
nice to see you're still busy. I was a young missionary in Studio City back
in 1986 and went to your 50th birthday party. I still thoroughly enjy the
tapes you gave me and they inspired me to put together a volunteer variety
show for nursing homes and I'm trying to build my own trio with harmonies as
close tou Reunion's as I can. Thanks for sharing your talents.

Jim, I've seen you perform with the Lettermen (about 100 years ago,

Please give this comment to Tony Butala.
Our son Michael Van Vooren sang with you at St. Brendans with Mr. Mitchell on at least one occasion and maybe a Mr. Mitchell anniversary. Michael was a Mitchell Boy and one of his lead singers. Maybe you remember him.
Michael and his wife Mae are going to be attending your concert at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center on December 11 2005. He will be seated on Level 2/Grand Door 2 G row/box seats 8 and 10. We have given Michael and his wife Mae these tickets for Christmas. I am hoping you can surprise him by recognizing him as one of The Mitchell Boys. Michael does sing sometimes but he has four young children--three daughters and one son. He is still a beautiful singer. Maybe you might ask him to join you in a musical number. Once a Mitchell Boy always a Mitchell Boy.
We would appreciate a return message from you Tony Butala.
Sincerely
Marie and Richard Van Vooren Michaels parents
