
NaCl, B1 type structure. Space group is Fm3m. Pearson symbol is cF8. TiC and TiN has this type of structure. Wustite (FeO) has also this structure, but Fe site has many vacancies (nonstoichiometric compound). 

CaF_{2}, C1 type structure. Space group is Fm3m. Pearson symbol is cF12. 

FeS_{2}, C2, pyrite type structure. Space group is Pa3. Pearson symbol is cP12. 

Cu_{2}O, C3, cuprite type structure. Space group is Pn3m. Pearson symbol is cP12. 

ZnS sphalerite, B3 type structure. Space group is F 43m. Pearson symbol is cF8. ZnS is cubic stacking of ZnS. InP has this type of structure. 

Nb_{3}Sn, A15 type structure. Space group is Pm3n. Pearson symbol is cP8. V_{3}Si and Nb_{3}Ge have this type of structure. Some of this type structure are super conducting materials, whose critical temperatures are around 20 K. 

ZnO wurtzite, also called B4 type structure. Space group is P6_{3}mc. Pearson symbol is hP4. Wurtzite is hexagonal stacking of ZnO. 

Corundam type structure, also called D5_{1}, whose chemical composition is Al_{2}O_{3}. Space group is R 3c. Pearson symbol is hR10. Left figure is drawn with hexagonal axis, containing 30 atoms in the unit. 

Ilmenite (FeTiO_{3}) structure, which is related structure of corundam. One of Al atoms are replaced by Ti and others are Fe atoms. Thus the space group is R3. 

Hematite (Fe_{2}O_{3}) structure, which is the same structure of corundam. 

Linnaeite (Co_{3}S_{4}) structure, D7_{2}. Pearson symbol is cF56. Space group is Fd3m. Prototype of Magnetite (Fe_{3}O_{4}) structure. Fe^{2+} and Fe^{3+} ions are considered to be mixed in magnetite. 

Spinel (MgAl_{2}O_{4}) structure, H1_{1}. Space group is Fd3m. Pearson symbol is cF56. Fe atoms in magnetie are replaced by Mg and Al atoms. In normal spinel, Mg^{2+} ions are placed in tetrahedral sites and Al^{3+} ions are placed in octahedral sites. Inverse spinel occupied sites in different way. 

Fayalite (Fe_{2}SiO_{4}) structure. Space group is orthorhombic, Pbnm. 

TiO_{2}, rutile structure, C4 type structure. Space group is P4_{2}/mnm. Pearson symbol is tP6. 

TiO_{2}, anatase structure. Space group is I4_{1}/amd. Pearson symbol is tI12. The density of anatase is lower than that of rutile. 

TiO_{2}, C21, brookite structure. Space group is Pbca. Pearson symbol is oP24. The density of brookite is lower than that of rutile and higher than that of anatase. 

g brass, D8_{2} type structure. Space groupe is I43m. Pearson symbol is cI52. 

g brass. 26 centered cluster constructed two tetrahedra (red and yellow tetrahedra with 8 atoms) and 12 Zn atoms (blue linked polyhedron called cuboctahedron) and 6 Cu atoms. The cluster is placed at the center and the coner of the unit cell. 

L1_{0} type structure, appearing AuCu, for example. If the unit cell is taken as left figure, Pearson symbol is tP4. Space group is P4/mmm.


L1_{2} type structure, appearing AuCu_{3}, for example. Space group is Pm3m. Pearson symbol is cP4. 

The same structure as above. If the unit cell of the L1_{0} type structure is drawn like left, Pearson symbol is tP2. Space group is P4/mmm. 

s phase appears in FeCr, D8_{b}. Pearson symbol is tP30. Space group is P4_{2}/mnm. 

AlB_{2}, C32 type structure. Omega phase has this type of structure. Pearson symbol is hP3. Space group is P6/mmm. c/a is longer than 1. 

AlB_{2} structure. Identical atoms occupy two atomic sites, in this case. TiZr or high pressure structure of Zr has this type of structure, sometimes called omega phase. Pearson symbol is hP3. Space group is P6/mmm. c/a is shorter than 1; typical value ranges around 0.62. 

CrB. B_{f} type structure. Pearson symbol is oC8. Space groupr is Cmcm. 

MoSi_{2}, C11_{b} type structure. Pearson symbol is tI6. Space group is I4/mmm. 

D0_{24}, Ni_{3}Ti structure. Space group is P6_{3}/mmc and Pearson symbol is hP16. Mo involved Kagome net is placed every layer. 

Fe_{2}Mo structure. Space group is P6_{3}/mmc and Pearson symbol is hP14. This is C14 type, Laves phase. Kagome net is formed with Fe atoms and truncated tetrahedron is found around Mo atom. 

Ti_{2}Ni_{3} high temperature phase structure. Space group is I4/mmm and Pearson symbol is tI10. 

Ti_{2}Ni_{3} low temperature phase structure. Space group is Bbmm and Pearson symbol is oC20. 

D0_{9}, ReO_{3} structure. Space group is Pm3m and Pearson symbol is cP4. Low resistivity, positive temperature coefficient like metal and metalic colour are listed as an unique propety. 

SiO_{2}(b cristobalite). C9 type structure. Space group is cubic, Fd3m. Pearson symbol is cF24.
