Colors:    Natural Colors, Sage (Japanese Kaya)

The motif of this style is created by using different types of linens, linen thread, and small branches which is then knitted and patched. The hat and sandals are made the same for its total match.

This sage shirt was simply made of a special linen, the Japanese Kaya.  The Kaya is used for mosquitos' net for bedrooms.

テーマである麻をいろいろな形で表現した。違った味のある麻生地や麻紐を数多く使い、木の小枝でバーツ事に囲み、麻生地をはめ込んだり、編んだりして各モチーフを作る。シンプルなメンズシャツは日本特有の麻の蚊帳地をそのまま用いて風合いを生かした。帽子やサンダルも同様にして作りトータルコーディネイトした。

The Onward is a leading fashion company in Tokyo.  They invited Jean Paul Gaultier, Luciano Soprani, Hanae Mori, as major judges for this contest.

第16回オンワード新人デザイナーファッショングランプリは最大規模のファッションデザインコンテストで審査員にジャンポールゴルチエ、ルチアノソプラーニ、森英恵、花井幸子、原由美子など著名人を迎えて行われた。
