With the use of glue-gun, black waxed cotton cords
are braided for a lattice look.
Using organdy as a inner-layer,
the jacket has three and the
bottom has two layers of braided
work. It is edged-out by copper
wires on pockets and other areas.
Then, unevenly coat the work with
powdered-copper paint and with
a use of chemical treatment,
rusty looks of copper are made.
This process was a challenging
experiment but came out to be a unique
and beautiful work. |

黒い蝋引きのコードはスーツのパターンに合わせて、グルーガンで格子状に編み上げる。ジャケットは三重にパンツは二重に重ねられ、裏地にオーガンディを使う。各パーツはスーツに仕立てられ、銅のワイヤーでポケットや各所を縁取りする。不規則に銅の粉塗料でコーティングし、それを腐食剤で錆を出させ、実際の緑青を浮かび上らせる。この作品を仕上げる段階で大きな実験となり、それはユニークでまた美しい作品となった。

財団法人トータルファッション協会が主催するこの全日本ファッションコンテストは第16回を迎え、審査員はコシノヒロコ、安部憲章、中野裕通など6名からなり 9千点以上の応募に今回は48点が最終選考にのこった。この金賞の副賞でヨーロッパ研修旅行でパリとミラノを訪れた。
