Masaki, the owner of POSADA DE QUIRIGUA, is Japanese. She designed the rooms, the furniture, the gardens and overall ambience of POSADA DE QUIRIGUA taking into consideration a perfect balance with the original natural beauty of the site and of eastern Guatemala. The entire design was conceived for the purpose of providing guests with comfort and a unique environment for relaxation.

POSADA DE QUIRIGUA has 2 double and 3 single rooms all with private bathrooms, hot water and ceiling fans.

The halls in POSADA DE QUIRIGUA were designed to provide an open space that allows guests to relax, read, and enjoy a beautiful tropical garden and comfortable hammocks. In the garden you will also find beautiful traditional fruit trees of eastern Guatemala including the Caimito and Chico trees.

GETTING TO THE QUIRIGUA RUNIS PARK

From POSADA DE QUIRIGUA  to the Park it will take about 10 minutes by Tuk-Tuk. On your way to the Park you will see the old Quirigua Train Station and Del Monte’s (United Fruit Co.) banana plantation.

The Park is open between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
