SHOJIN-RYORI (Vegetarian Cuisine)

Shojin-Ryori is a kind of vegetarian dish served at Shukubo (lodging temples) or some Japanese restaurants in Koyasan.


Shojin-Ryori is cooked without any meat, fish, even some herbs or vegetables with strong smell.
Once you stay overnight at Shukubo, you can enjoy the gourmet vegetarian cuisine for dinner and breakfast at each Shukubo.

If you make a reservation in advance, you can also enjoy them at
lunch time.
