First of all, I would like to gratitude KCCN for providing the three days remarkable activity. This was the first time I experienced the Japanese culture in such a close distance.

The Primary places of whole schedule can be concluded into Kudoyama Presentation and Show, Sanada Residence Sightseeing, Kudokawa Host Family Domicile, Sanada Festival Parade, and Koyasan Buddhist Life Observe.

Kudoyama Presentation and Show

Everything started with the performance of Monster dance鬼舞 . The funny thing was the monster always tried to get close to kids and frighten them. Some of them stayed cool, some cried, some even shouted “kowai-kowai”. It is believed that this kind of action can make the kids become stronger and healthier.

The activity filled with presentations from many exchange and international students from different Universities. And was ended with several cultural shows from different Countries.

Sanada Residence Sightseeing

After the Presentation and show, we travelled and had sightseeing around the residence of Sanada Yukimura. The residence itself seems to be an ordinary traditional house, yet full of historical value in it. The special sign of Sanada property is the six coins symbol.

Kudokawa Host Family Domicile

The first night, we were being arranged to stay with the local Japanese residents. This awesome idea made us easier to blend into the local culture. We had a great dinner and chat with the whole members of the host family. Sanada Festival Parade

This was the most gorgeous experience I ever had since I came to Japan. I even never dreamt about wearing the samurai costume before. It is a great honor being invited to such a big event (Sanada Festival) not as an audience, but to take part in it.

Koyasan Buddhist Life Observation

Although I have heard a lot about Koyasan and the Buddhist temples, I had never been or tasted the life inside. The meditation impressed me the most, It was a big challenge for me to keep still even just for ten minutes. The Buddhist life style is not as easy as I thought before, It needs a big determination to be a part of it.
