It is difficult to understand the sudden death of somebody one love even for adults, much more for children. Ponette was only 4 years old when she met a car crash in her Mum's car. Ponette survived, but her mother died. All she can understand was "Mum is not here", and nothing could explain her why this had happened.

On the way home from the hospital, her Father explained her Mum's death and complained about Mum's carelessness. Ponette, however, she pleaded for her Mum and believed her Mum will come back again. Her Dad left her in her aunt and cousin's house and went for his job.

In relative's house, Ponette believed her Mum come back and waited for her. Even if her cousins, Delphine and Matiaz invited her to play with them, she was not interested in them.

Ponette "I'm busy. I'm waiting for my Mum"
Matiaz "She won't come back. She died. So did my grandfather."

Ponette "That's because nobody waited for him "

From her aunt, Ponette learnt the Ressurection of Christ. She believed her Mum will also revive to dee her, and kept waiting. She combined the religious thoughts and her own belief in her way. Nobody could stop her belief.....

She was sent to a boarding school with her cousins, and made new friends. However, what she thinks is always about her Mum. Everynight she waited for her Mum in the dream, but nothing happened in real life. Her friends, especially her cousin Matiaz, tried to made her understand and encourage her, but she still would not stop waiting for her Mum.

Finally, she asked for the God. At night, she went into 'God's room' and prayed.

"My Lord, my Mum died. But I want to see her again. I've waited for her, talked to her, but she never answer. She must be with you. Please, please tell her to come to see me. I'll wait. "

But still nothing happen. Before her Dad come to take her home, she decided to go to see her Mum by herself. she went to her Mum's tomb, and digged it with crying out. Then a miracle happened.
