ジョーイ
原題 『Joey』

ニューヨークから仕事を求めてロスにやってきた俳優のジョーイ・トリビアーニと姉のジーナ、ジーナの息子のマイケル、ジョーイの隣人たち、仕事仲間たちの愉快な日常を描いたドラマ。フレンズで「俺には妹が7人いる！」とジョーイは叫んでいたが、姉もいたようだ。sisterの訳は難しいね。

早くも第一シーズンがDVDで出ている。

wowowで放送中。フレンズのスピンオフ。スピンオフってのは元々あったドラマとか映画とかから生まれる別の物語みたいなもん・・・という解釈でいいだろうか。悟空がレッドリボン軍を追いかけてペンギン村に入った、みたいなさ。それは違うか。大甲子園に球道くんとか一球さんが出てきて山田と対決するようなものか。いや、これも違うな。

とにかく、ジョーイのあほっぷりは健在なのである。健在だがフレンズの頃よりも確実に若さがないだけに見ていて悲しくなる瞬間もある。頑張れ。

第2シーズンで打ち切り決定。残念だがさようなら。

ニューヨークで俳優をしていたが心機一転、ロスに渡ったが、なかなかいい仕事にめぐり会えない。姉ジーナの息子、つまり甥のマイケルと二人暮らし中。
