| Short story of
Obihiro Baptist Christ Church (OBCC) Japan Baptist Convention decided the mission work for Obihiro-city in 1959, and Rev. Masato Saito was sent to Obihiro in 1963. In 1964, the former chapel was built mainly by the offering from Christians of USA. In 1995, Rev. Saito retired, and OBCC called Rev.Kirimoto as a new pastor. OBCC also decided to build a new chapel in 1999, and it was finished by October 2000. In Oct.2007, Rev. Kirimoto retired, and OBCC commits the pastoring and mission work to cooperative pastor Sawada. OBCC now has about 30 active members from teens to elders. OBCC is open to everyone. Please join us! |
