Made by late Grand Master Meitoku Yagi.
There are five katas in Meibuken which are [Tenchi],[Seiryu],[Byakko],[Shujakku], and [Genbu]. Four Katas, beside [Tenchi] are generally understanding as Guardian Deity for four directions. However, according to explanation by our Master Meitoku Yagi, he made them from[War Flag] of [Naha Large rope towing] which has been holding ever since before World War Second up until now.Those flags are always in his mind since he has been seeing them since he was a small boy. participant
