Koichi Ozaki (Eurasian Suite) - Decadal Cruise (Eurasian Suite)
Koichi 'Eurasian Suite' Ozaki returns for with more intriguing left-of-centre neo-jazz music, with Novo Tempo in tow, as per usual. This release is available from Japanese iTunes and kicks off with the piano and percussion guided "Decadal Cruise". The 'Bamboo Mix' is a more fluid version and the other track from Ozaki on this EP, entitled "Newborn Echo", brings forth an inner peace, courtesy of some beautiful key work and regimented percussion. Novo Tempo's contribution to this EP is "Circles", where a thoughtful live bass is joined by touching flute playing and solemn percussion.

Koichi Ozaki's Eurasian Suite imprint may not have a very demanding release
schedule, but when he does get round to putting records out on the label, they
are pretty impressive. This second instalment of the collaboratory series with
Novo Tempo sees Koichi provide a trio of cuts on the B Side, as Novo Tempo get
to display their wares on the A. Novo Tempo's Carmo・(Brick & Piknik Rmx) is a
shuffling percussed number with possessive synths, whilst Tubbey・lets a flute
show off its melodic beauty, over a gurgling bass and thinking keys. The pick
of Koichi's tracks is the Eurasian Suite Theme・ where sweet keys, celestial
voices and carrying synths meet. His other offerings are Dragonet・ where
piano keys do all the hard work, and Petal Of Cherry Blossom・ a relaxed number
with stumbling percussion and an exquisite Kalimba.
