3-1.日本語設定やらやらやら

以下の作業は、coLinuxを起動して起動後のDebian内で作業します。

3-1-1．/etc/apt/sources.list （aptライン）を以下のように変更する
　　　（他に近くのサーバにDebianが置いてある場所があれば、そちらのミラーを利用するようにする）

Debian GNU/Linuxの最新版である 3.1 (sarge)から Non-USがなくなってます

3-1-2．必ず最初に、 apt-get update;apt-get upgrade を実行して、パッケージを最新のものに更新する

3-1-3．日本語106キーボードの為に

# apt-get install console-tools console-data

インストール後にキーボード選択が表示されますので、

Debian Configuration Configuring Console-data The keymap describes how keys are laid out on your keyboard, and what symbols (letters, digits, etc.) are drawn on them. "Select keymap from arch list" will allow you to select one of the predefined keymaps specific for your architecture - you will most likely want this unless you have a USA keyboard. "Keep kernel keymap" will prevent any keymap from being loaded next time your system boots. It will remove from /etc/ any keymap you may have already selected (it will be lost), but if you have already loaded a keymap, it cannot not be changed back until you reboot. "Don't touch keymap" will prevent the configuration system from overwriting the keymap you have in /etc/. Select this if you want to keep a keymap you obtained through other means. Please remember to install new keymaps with install-keymap(8) if you select this choice. "Select keymap from full list" offers a full listing of all predefined keymaps. You want this, if you use an USB keyboard from a different computer architecture or if you use an adapter to use such a keyboard. What policy do you want to apply regarding keymaps ? Select keymap from arch list Don't touch keymap Keep kernel keymap Select keymap from full list <Ok> <Cancel>

"Select keymap from arch list" を選択
"qwerty" -> "Japanese" -> "Standard" を選択すれば宜しいかと。


又は、インストール後に再度設定を行いたい場合には、

# dpkg-reconfigure console-data を実行すれば再度設定が行えます。
　　↑
dpkg-reconfigure は他のパッケージでも同様に使えますので覚えといてください。

3-1-4．日本語ローケル

root権限にて、 /etc/locale.gen に以下の行を追加

/etc/locale.gen なんてないよ！って人は

# apt-get install locales

で、/etc/locale.gen を編集 or 確認してください。


ja_JP.eucJP EUC-JP
↑
これがあればOK、無ければ追加して
root権限で locale-gen を実行

Generating locales... 　ja_JP.EUC-JP... done Generation complete.

こんなメッセージが表示されたらOK


※ dpkg-reconfigure locales でも同様の設定が行える


その後、一般ユーザにてログインして ~/.bashrc 辺りに

export LC_ALL=ja_JP.eucJP とか書いておく。

smbfsマウントした時に、日本語ファイル名がちゃんと漢字で表示される。
（これを忘れたり間違うと??????みたいな表示になる）

但し、colinux-console.exe はKONも動きませんし今のところ漢字とかちゃんと表示できないみたいなので当然日本語化パッチhdkさん(putty日本語化)を使う

Debianなんて知らないよ！って人も少し慣れると凄く楽だと気付くと思います。
自分が欲しいパッケージを探すには、apt-cache search canna 　とかすれば、探せます、
その中から 欲しいのを apt-get install xxxx とインストールすれば良いわけです、依存関係で他に必要なモノがある
場合にも自動でインストールされます。

3-2．PuTTy日本語版 + ssh + screen 最強！

colinux-console は不便なので ssh をインストールしてWindowsのターミナルエミュレータから接続できるようにする

# apt-get install ssh screen

ダウンロードが終わったら、設定画面が表示される　最初は [OK]とか押して、
次に表示される、下の問いに <YES> と応えると SSH Protocol 2 でしか接続できなくなる。
TeraTermのTTSSHのようにプロトコル１にしか対応していないようなツールを使う場合には、<NO>を選択

Configuring Ssh 　You have the option of installing the ssh-keysign helper with the SUID 　bit set. 　If you make ssh-keysign SUID, you will be able to use SSH's Protocol 2 　host-based authentication. 　If in doubt, I suggest you install it with SUID. If it causes problems 　you can change your mind later by running: dpkg-reconfigure ssh 　Do you want /usr/lib/ssh-keysign to be installed SUID root? <Yes>　　　　　　　　　 <No>

続きの問いには、<YES>とか<OK>とかを選択すれば十分


[Putty日本語化版]
hdkさん(putty日本語化)からeuc-jpが通るように修正されたputtyを入手して下さい。
後は、他の詳しく説明してくれてる色々なサイトを参考に導入してね。（＾＾；



[screenってなんじゃろ]

screen の使い方は、いまさらとも思いますが、もしも未経験の人がいれば一度試してみてください、
必ず手放せなくなりますよ。

１．	まず、Putty日本語版でログインしてください。（普通に他のPC-UNIXからsshでも入れます）

３．	screenの起動に成功したところで、少し操作してみましょう。 $ ls / とでも入力してみてください 次に、キーボードの【Control】キーを押しながら【C】キーを押してください、 先に入力した ls の画面が消えましたね？ これは、ls の画面が裏に廻って新しいコンソール画面が作られたと云う意味です。 元の画面に戻したければ、【Control】キーを押しながら【スペース】キーを押すと戻ります。 この調子で 0-9までの仮想スクリーンを作る事が可能です。 詳しいキー操作は man screen で確認してください。 あと、emacs使いな人々には辛いキーがあると思いますので キーコマンドはは自分の使い勝手のよう修正する事をお勧めします。
４．	最後に、screen最大の偉業！？とも云える機能が隠されています。 またscreenを起動した状態で、ls でも表示させておいて puttyをブチッ！っとフォームの[x]ボタンでもクリックして強制終了させてみて下さい。 実は、この状態でも screen は生きているのです、先ほど入力したコマンドは ls だったので直ぐにジョブは終了していますが、これが長時間実行されるような処理の場合、今もジョブは生きて活動中と言うことになります。 では、先ほど強制的に終わらせてしまった画面が生きているのかを確認してみましょう。 再度、puttyで接続して普通通りにログインしてみてください、そして、 $ screen -r と入力すれば・・・・、再び画面が表示されましたね？ coLinuxに限らず、BSDや普通のLinuxを使う時にも screenは便利なツールですのでお試しあれ！

3-3．VNC接続でGUI利用

基本的には、PuTTY(win)＋screen(linux)で満足なんですけど、GUIなプログラムも動かしてみたい事もあるわけで、
とりあえず、Cygwin+Xでなんとか動くものの速度的な事や諸事情によりVNCで十分サクサク動くって事もあり、vncserverでお茶を濁すことにしてみる。
Linux側のvncserverはaptでインストールできるが、Windows側のクライアント別途入手の必要ありです。


当然、debian側のXの設定やフォントのインストールはちゃんとしてるとみなして
apt-get update;apt-get install vncserver で VNCサーバをインストールしてみる辺りから解説

3-3-1．	インストールが完了したら、コンソールにて vncserver を起動してみる。
3-3-2．	初回目はパスワードを決定する為に２度パスワードを入力する。
3-3-3．	次に、Windows側でVNCクライアントを起動して、 coLinuxのIPアドレス:ポート（たぶん、192.168.x.x:1 みたいな）を入力する
3-3-4．	ちゃんと起動できてたらOK（たぶん迷うことなく起動できるはず）
3-3-5．	Debian側のvncの設定は、/etc/vnc.conf を弄るなりする、画面サイズや色数は触っておこう
3-3-6．	このままだと、colinux起動後に コンソールでvncserver を毎回叩く必要がある、 それでも良いのだが、やはり面倒だと云う人は、お手軽にLAN起動時にvncserverも起動させておこう。 debian的には、init.d にちゃんと登録した方が良いのかもうしれないが、問題ないでしょう。

/etc/network/interfaces をエディタで開いてちょっと追加

auto lo eth0 iface lo inet loopback iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.1.2 gateway 192.168.1.10 netmask 255.255.255.0 bloadcast 192.168.1.255 up /bin/su ユーザID -c /usr/bin/X11/vncserver :1

上の「ユーザID」の部分は、あなたの環境に合わせて修正して下さい、
これで、eth0が起動した後で vncserverも起動されます。

その他

iWAさんのところ にある、設定１８の
ハードウェアクロックがローカルタイムの場合は「/etc/default/rcS」の「UTC=yes」が悪影響を及ぼすようなので、「UTC=no」にしておく。辺りは重要

iWAさんのところ の６．にもHDDイメージの作成方法がありますが
（dd if=/dev/zero of=fs_home.img bs=1M count=1024）
うちも同様の方法でイメージ増設してあります。（＾＾
作成に結構時間がかかったので、空のイメージだけアップしておきます。（圧縮してありますが、解凍すると１G弱）
fs_ext3.zip <-- 随分前に作成したので忘れましたが、たぶん空でext3のフォーマットだけしてあります。（ｗ；

一応、うちのdefault.colinux.xml も晒しときます。

■coLinuxの感想

　正直、こんなのが前から欲しかった！ってのが一番の感想です。
　これだけだと、面白くないので、PostgreSQLをインストールしてテストしてみた結果を載せておきます。
　（vmwareは持って無いのでテストできていません）
