Welcome to Cyber Metamorphosis Website!I established this website in order to let you know about an absolutely cool Japanese toy soldier made more then 30 years ago. Can you believe that the 12 inch-figure that you see below became popular among young boys in the early '70s? TAKARA (one of the biggest Japanese toy companies) converted a U.S. military figure, GI-Joe into a transparent plastic dall. The transparent "sci-fi GI-Joe" was on the market from 1972 to 1974.
The name of the sci-fi toy-soldier was "Henshin Cyborg No.1". "Henshin" is a Japanese phrase, which means "to metamorphose". "Hen" means "change" and "shin" means "body", respectively. The first Japanese "tokusatsu" hero who used the catch-phrase was Masked Rider No.1. Henshin Cyborg really changed into not only Masked Riders and Ultramen but also a number of other TV heroes. Even such a popular animation robot as Majinger Z was in his repertoire. For more details, please click the menu on the left column. Copyright (C) CYBER METAMORPHOSIS
