About myself Born in 1969 in a small village in Taoyuan county, Hunan province. Finished my high school study in 1987, and entered Wuhan university in the same year, majored in Physics. After 9 years study there, I got my doctor degree in 1996. My research field is Positron Annihilation Spectroscopy. Up to now, more than 60 papers have been published on this subject. In 1998, I became an associated professor. In May 1999 I was invited to Japan as a visiting scholar, working in the university of Tsukuba. From 2000.2 to 2002.2, I was supported by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Sciences (JSPS) to continue the research in Japan. From June 2002, I have been working in Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI) under the support of JAERI research fellowship. See my personal history for details. About positron annihilation There are three methods of positron experiment: positron lifetime, Doppler broadening and angular correlation measurement. Recently another technique has been developed, that is the slow positron beam which can be used to study the defects in the specified depth. In other words, the depth distribution of defects can be obtained by this technique. If you want to know more details about Positron Annihilation, you can visit here. My hobby What do you do at your spare time? Maybe we have some hobby in common.
