I thoroughly enjoyed Chavo's matches at the San Diego wrestling arena in the late seventies. He always displayed a superior wrestling style and served as a fine example for the young wrestling fans. I last saw him wrestle in Tijuana in the early 90's. He was still on top of his game. I don't watch wrestling any more because of the sleazy WWE shows. Look forward to a return to the seventies style wrestling.

What a great site. My first true hero in the late 70's with Houston Wrestling watching Chavo & Hector as the "Mexican Connection". The match where Chavo straddled the top rope and foamed from the mouth, scared me and my brother to death!!! His match with Gourgeous Gino Hernandez was that of legend.
