My Memories of

Special Edition

Meeting Chavo in Japan 2007

Hello, Sadaaki & Tadahiko.

I attended the Korakuen Hall on April 11 to see Chavo's last match in Japan.

The match of Chavo against "Dragon" Fujinami started with Chavo's exciting hip attack

and showed us the admirable offense and defense through the match.

When the match was over and the spot light projected Chavo's majestic figure

and ten count gong was rung out inside the hall,

I almost felt like crying, being deeply touched.

Many fans around me seemed so much moved for the scene, too.

That became the very special night in my life.

Chavo, thank you so much for lots of great memories !

( Mr. "Chavo Forever" from Saitama, Japan )

"T shirt ! T shirt ! "

When I set foot into the lobby of the Korakuen Hall,

a very powerful call was echoed all over the lobby.

The genius of the strong voice was Chavo Sr. himself

who was signing the autograph for his fans on the Guerrero family T-shirt.

I didn't know Chavo was such a merry, cheerful person

and that was a night I had the new discovery.

Happily, I could shake hands with him -

actually that was my first time to shake hands with

the GAIJIN (foreign) wrestler -

and I could make very nice memory.

Thank you very much Chavo and please keep well !

( Mr. "Ryu" , Japan )

Hello !

I saw Muga's Korakuen Hall show on April 11th

and could see Chavo Sr. within point blank range of the lobby of the hall.

He truly was so friendly and so kind

and gave me an autograph on the program of the show.

I'm sure ALL wrestling fans who were there became to love him

because he honestly was a pleasant person.

Chavo, thank you very much !

( Mr. Yuji Toda from Tokyo, Japan )

Chavo's final match in Japan was held at the Korakuen Hall on April 11th.

Since Chavo gave my husband and me an opportunity to meet

and I'm a huge fan of him, I could not pass up the chance to see his last match.

In fact, I could see all four matches of Chavo in this series

and I always hoped him to retract the retirement

because his moves really were terrific at the age of 58 -

my husband had the same opinion as me.

My husband also told me he's so much honored to send the Ten Count Gong

to his biggest good rival.

Chavo, thank you very much for everything.

( Ms. Kaori Fujinami - Tatsumi Fujinami's wife )

Since everything has a beginning, everything has an end.

Since everyone meets, everyone leaves.

Yesterday, a hero departed.

Though Chavo was not an old friend of mine,

I'm sure we could be true great friends this time.

Pro-wrestling is not made up only in the ring.

As long as we exist and as long as we live,

pro-wrestling always is around.

How the man was born, how he lives and how he passes ....

that's awful .... but this ia pro-wrestling, this is my life

and that's why I could fight against the cancer.

I will walk with pro-wrestling forever ... even in the life to come.

Thank you, pro-wrestling.

Chavo Guerrero certainly is a pro-wrestling itself.

( Osamu Nishimura - Japanese Wrestler )
