SEO demands linkbacks. Content marketing introduces linkbacks.

Reaching out to random people and asking them to share your stuff isn’t really a promising and efficient tactic. We need to find people who already expressed interest toward a specific topic. These people, when approached with relevant content, will probably read it, give feedback or even share it with their followers. For good link building, you need to build good relationships. There are plenty of opportunities to build new contacts. You should start with niche-related communities: forums, blogs or social groups. Incorporating relevance and trustworthiness into your link building strategy is an essential part of your ranking efforts. The most effective way to boost your website’s indexation is through linking. The paths that the spiders take through the Internet are formed by links. When one page links to another page, the spider follows that path. Within your own website, make sure that you’ve created links to and from all your most important pages. Google needs to generate, maintain and increase its revenue. It can only be done when the searchers uses Google as a Search Engine. The searchers will use Google till the time the Search Engine is providing accurate results to the query entered by the searcher.

Create an e-book or guide every three months

Google Trends tells you how searches in a subject change over time. You can use it to predict spikes and slumps as well as to know when you should update and change pages for the season or switch to using different keywords. You can look at and compare several different terms at a time Cascading style sheets are external files that control various type and formatting attributes of elements on a web page. Some people include all of the font, table, and color-type formatting right inside the web page, which can add hundreds of lines of extraneous code, which dilutes keyword emphasis and slows down page load times. Moving all of the formatting attributes to an external .css file can also speed up load times and make your website much more search-friendly. Link building always paves the way for effective relationship building. Whenever any local publication writes about you (and of course, link back to you), you can establish a relationship with the author as well as the organization. It might lead to getting great results as you never know who that author is connected to. Write legible, readable copy, and treat the meta description as if it’s an advert for your web-page Because not all links are equal, you need to be very careful when you start a link building campaign. Your users will be happy, Google will keep you in the search results and your business will grow.

Google Identifies CTR and User Experience as Major Ranking Factors

Video content is a great way to drive engagement from your visitors. Facebook users are now watching over 100 million hours of video per day on the social network alone, and video is becoming an increasingly cost effective format for advertisers. From an organic search point of view, video has a few issues, especially if you're not hosting your video content through YouTube. The biggest problem is that search engines can't understand the content within video (yet). Your Title Tags are far-and-away the most important places to put your keywords. Don’t be too focused on creating backlinks, instead focus on the END Goal. You can read an offsite SEO beginners guide here. Visual content is more important than ever. It manages to supplement text in the best possible way (or even to replace it) and it certainly can affect SEO. Links are still a critical element to Google’s algorithm and their value needs to be protected.

Links are like glue

According to SEO Consultant, Gaz Hall: "Would you like to make it easier for search engines to understand what keyword(s) your blog should rank for?" Assessing which keywords to go after first is a crucial second step in your keyword research. This is difficult: not everyone is good at estimating which keywords their site will be able to rank for. There is little doubt that good search engine optimization (SEO) is important to ensure your site is properly indexed and ranked, but even the most optimized site is just a voice in the wind if you don’t have an audience. Becoming the authority in your area is quite possibly the No. 1 best avenue towards building that audience. Google’s algorithms are always changing and updating, and increasingly there is more and more focus on the user — with the search engines favouring quality content over poorly written, keyword-stuffed pages. If you’re familiar with SEO, you’ll already know the importance of keyword research – it ensures that you’re targeting terms that searchers genuinely use when looking for businesses like yours. Google Adwords’ Keyword Planner is a great free tool to get started with, but be sure to use a range of other tools too such as Keyword.io to develop a broad list of local keywords.

While there plenty of differences between SEO and content marketing, there are also many areas where they overlap. Taking advantage of this overlap and using it in your website is the quickest way to get more people to visit your site. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that keywords can really keep web pages focused, which is important in SEO. We look at buyer persona behavior, industry trends, competitors and more to build a list of targeted terms, and then we focus on one term per page. In doing so, we can more easily provide value to our viewers. Every search engine gives different weights to these ranking factors which is why when you enter the same search term in different search engines you will generally get different results. Wouldn’t it be cool if you could find out exactly which keywords your competitors are ranking for AND how much search traffic those keywords are bringing in? Backlinks, also referred as inbound links are link backs, an incoming hyperlink to your website and that’s why they are called backlinks!

Be sure to use your long-tail terms

By using internal linking strategically, you can boost the ranking of other pages on your website. Say you have a popular page that is ranking highly in Google and receiving a lot of traffic. By strategically placing a link on that page to another on your site that you want to rank, you can pass “authority” to that page. Between 2011 & 2015 Google released random, major updates to its organic search algorithm. But the search engine giant has attained a solid foundation, the importance and number of updates has decreased. The well-publicised Panda and Penguin updates have had a significant (and in my view, positive) impact on the discipline of SEO. Google can’t infer or “make sense of pictures, colours or music.” So it needs help. Google needs help to recognise the things it cares about: inbound links that indicate your popularity, frequently used words, headings, bulleted and numbered lists, links, bolded, italicised and underlined words.
