Nick Santora hints that the writers would stay around as long as the network asks, even though everyone says that Prison Break Season 4 will be the last.
"We will continue to make PB for as long as the network asks us to," Nick writes on PBreakFans. "But if we are not asked back for a 5th season or a 6th or whatever, that would be the end of the road. But we, as writer/producers, don't worry about that stuff - we make as good a show as we can and see what happens. The network has been great to us and they are our partners in the show - we will work hard for them and give them a show we hope they are proud of and see what happens. That's the way it is on every show. You put it on the air and hope for the best."

同感だね。名無し 08:38 -- 受け手を大事にしないのは彼らだけじゃないけど、彼らは自分達も大事にしてない・・・なんで新しい新鮮なプロジェクトへ移る時に、死に馬にむちを打つ ( けりの付いた話を蒸し返す ) んだろう？
おっと、誰に言ってんだ、どうでもいいけど。 ウィリアム・フィクトナーを降板させたら、これに見切りをつけるよ。

8 final episodes? That means there will be 24 episodes total...if there's normally 22 episodes,
it sounds like they were given the extra 2 to "wrap things up" and this is the last season of the show?! :(

Olmstead also reveals that there's a "major personal revelation" in store for the sibs involving Kathleen Quinlan's shadowy new character, who pops up at the episode's end and will recur when the series returns in spring. "She has a history with Michael and Lincoln. It's a bit shattering for then both," he says. Can't the guys ever get any news?

The Hollywood Reporter says the series might be coming to an end, because word is there might be two more episodes this season, which could be an attempt to wrap up storylines and send Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell on their merry way.

Yes, it's true Fox is considering an additional two hours for the current 22-episode season four of Prison Break.

She said, "They were filming outside the Aquarium [of the Pacific in Long Beach] and saw Wentworth and Sarah and was able to watch some of the filming. I found a crew call report later with some details about the episode. It was for episode 418, 'VS.' The episode had Michael, Sara, Lincoln, Mahone, T-Bag, Self and two other people named Christina and Downey. In the first scene it says 'Mahone arrives, not Linc. Michael can't believe Mahone will still work for the Company.' So apparently Michael is still alive and with Sara, and apparently Mahone is working for the Company again!" Thanks, Sarah.

At a meeting of Hollywood's most respected stars – including Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty and Meryl Streep – a majority encouraged the president of the Screen Actors Guild to move forward with a vote on a possible actors' strike, a top entertainment writer reports.
A spokeswoman for SAG told Sharon Waxman, the author and former New York Times writer behind the WaxWord blog, that the guild meets often with high-profile actors to discuss a possible strike.
"We have met with high profile actors on sets and elsewhere to discuss various issues throughout our negotiations," Pam Greenwalt told Waxman. "We do not publicize the meetings nor do we release details."
Waxman initially said the meeting was last month, but later removed that from her posting.
After talks with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers failed again last week, SAG announced Saturday it plans to ask members to pursue a strike vote.
The actors and producers disagree over compensation for work reused or made for the Internet. AMPTP wants the guild to follow pacts already signed with the other major actors union, as well as the writers and directors.
Waxman reported SAG President Alan Rosenberg had invited the actors, who also included Nick Nolte and Annette Bening, to an Italian restaurant to give their thoughts on a possible strike while the guild was still negotiating with the producers. The actors did not share their thoughts with the group because they were asked to write them down on slips of paper. Waxman cited a person who attended the meeting and spoke to her on condition of anonymity.
SAG's 120,000 members have been working under a contract that expired June 30. It called the producers back to the table in hopes of avoiding a repeat of the recent writers’ strike that shut down the TV industry for three months and cost the Los Angeles-area economy an estimated $2.5 billion.
SAG needs 75 percent to approve the strike authorization, and the final decision would lie with its national board.

Management continues to insist on terms we cannot responsibly accept on behalf of our members. Wentworth Miller told a French tv channel called Canal +, in an interview, that Prison Break was going to end this season. He says that the whole crew knows it and that a fifth season would only be for the money and he doesn't want to be a part of this.

The actors on the Fox drama have been notified by 20th TV that the filming schedule might be extended to accommodate production of two additional episodes.

"Prison" writers are yet to pitch ideas about the extra hours, but speculation is that they might serve as a conclusion to the four-year series.

When i walked down the streets of the city that is Fox Studios...i said to myself ..... this isn't Prison Break. After settling in to my trailer they asked if i wanted breakfast from the commissary...and i thought... this isn't Prison Break.

Everyone else was on another location shooting so the entire day was Wentworth and i in every scene and visiting and catching up the stories we had not been able to tell each other for 3 years.
